Windcraft Band & Voices (CY)

The Festival´s band – Windcraft Band – is celebrating its tenth birthday along with the Festival itself! For this year’s performance, the 20-member wind ensemble has prepared some special arrangements of traditional tunes from Cyprus and other regions of the Mediterranean, which bring winds under the spotlight and transfuse a contemporary dimension into the musical tradition of our neighbourhood. Windcraft Voices a capella ensemble will also be joining the band, performing polyphonically arranged songs in various languages.
